Robert M. Kamm
Robert M. Kamm attended the University of Wisconsin, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in accounting. He was a member of the national honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from University of Wisconsin law school with a Juris Doctor degree, having served as an editorial board member of the law review and being appointed to the Order of the Coif. He is licensed to practice by the Supreme Court of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. After an affiliation with Aaron, Aaron, Schimberg & Hess and with Zenoff, Westler, Jones, he formed Kamm & Shapiro Ltd. with Jerold Shapiro in 1977. Mr. Kamm has represented financial institutions, emphasizing commercial and real estate loan documentation and closings, commercial litigation (both plaintiff and defendant), loan workouts, creditor representation in foreclosures, Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, and appeals.
